B.L.A. (Bacon, Lettuce, Apple) Bites

Yield: 40 appetizers

Ingredients

1 apple, cut julienne
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 pound bacon
4 Tablespoons mayonnaise
4 (10- inch) flour tortillas
1/2 pound sliced sharp cheddar cheese
2 heads Bibb lettuce

Directions:

1. Toss apples with lemon juice. Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp. Drain on paper towel.

2. Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on each tortilla. Divide cheddar cheese, lettuce, bacon and apples between each tortilla.

3. Roll tightly. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 30 minutes.

4. Slice into 1/2-inch rounds and serve.
